BLUETTI B4810 Battery for RV5
The BLUETTI B4810 battery is a 48 V LiFePO₄ battery designed to power the BLUETTI RV5 Power Hub in a campervan, travel trailer, RV, or off-grid installation. With a capacity of 5,120 Wh, it provides a substantial energy reserve in a modular format. Its integrated heating system also makes it easier to use when temperatures drop below 0 °C, a particularly useful feature for Canadian winter conditions.
- Capacity: 5,120 Wh (51.2 V / 100 Ah).
- Battery chemistry: LiFePO₄ with more than 6,000 cycles to 70% capacity.
- Cold-weather operation: Automatic heating film below 0 °C.
- Current: Recommended charging current of 50 A and discharge current up to 100 A.
- Protection: IP65 rating, integrated BMS, and temperature sensors.
- Expansion capacity: Up to 24 modules for a total of 122.8 kWh.
- Control: Monitor voltage and state of charge through the Bluetooth app.
This design is particularly well suited for travellers looking for a permanent and expandable energy system. For example, the internal heating system helps facilitate charging in cold weather. In addition, the modular architecture allows you to gradually increase your energy capacity as your needs evolve.
A 5.12 kWh Battery for the BLUETTI RV5 Power Hub
The B4810 is at the heart of the energy storage system for the BLUETTI RV5 Power Hub. A single battery provides 5.12 kWh of capacity, while multiple modules can be combined to create a system with greater energy autonomy.
This modular design makes it possible to build a 5 kWh or 10 kWh system for an RV or campervan. For larger installations, capacity can be expanded to as many as 24 B4810 modules, for a maximum of 122.8 kWh.
BLUETTI B4810 Battery Compatibility
The B4810 battery is designed to work with the BLUETTI RV5 Power Hub and its 48 V architecture. Together, these two components create an integrated energy system capable of managing energy storage, charging, and power distribution for equipment in a converted vehicle.
This solution is particularly well suited for RVs, campervans, and travel trailers. It can also meet the needs of certain off-grid installations, including boats and cottages.
For a more compact and fully portable system, consider the Premium AC200PL power station instead. You can also explore our BLUETTI power stations, expansion batteries, and RV solar kit to find a configuration suited to your energy needs.
A LiFePO₄ Battery Built to Last
The B4810's LiFePO₄ technology provides more than 6,000 cycles to 70% capacity. This makes it particularly well suited for permanent installations where the battery is regularly charged and discharged over many years.
The integrated BMS also monitors battery operation, while temperature sensors help protect the system. With its IP65 rating, the B4810 is well suited for the demanding environments commonly found in converted vehicles and off-grid installations.
Integrated Heating for Canadian Winter Conditions
When temperatures drop below 0 °C, the integrated heating film helps keep the battery in better conditions for charging. This feature is particularly useful for travellers using their RV or campervan during the Canadian winter.
This allows you to benefit from LiFePO₄ technology while using a system designed to better handle cold temperatures.
RV, Vanlife, and Overlanding Applications
For trips lasting a few days, a single B4810 provides 5.12 kWh of capacity to power essential vehicle equipment. Your fridge, lighting, water pump, and electronic devices can all operate from a substantial energy reserve.
For extended road trips or vehicles with higher energy demands, adding a second battery creates a system with approximately 10 kWh of capacity. Paired with the RV5 Power Hub, this additional capacity becomes particularly useful for air conditioning and other high-demand appliances.
Larger off-grid installations can continue to expand by adding additional modules. This allows you to adapt your storage capacity to your actual energy consumption instead of replacing the entire system.
Practical Tips for the BLUETTI B4810 Battery
During installation, securely mount the brackets before tightening the M8 connections. Then connect the Ethernet communication cable to enable system and battery monitoring through the app.
When temperatures drop below 0 °C, allow the integrated heating system to manage the battery temperature. Check the connections regularly as well, especially after extended travel on rough roads.
For installations with more than eight batteries, plan for the Edocks required to expand the system. Despite its IP65 rating, keep the connections and terminals in an area that is as clean and protected as possible.
Finally, explore the BLUETTI RV5 Power Hub, our DC-DC chargers, and the BLUETTI Charger 1 to build an energy system suited to your vehicle and desired level of off-grid autonomy.
